Installation Instructions

Woodworking Carbide Cutting Rough Straight Milling Cutter Router Drill Bit for CNCHow to choose a tool

1. The shank of the tool should be fitted in accordance with EU regulations. For example, the clamping depth of 12.7mm must be 24mm to maintain the proper pressure bearing range of the tool shank.

2. Select a tool with a longer cutting edge than the workpiece. For example, if you want to mill a groove with a depth of 12.7mm, please choose a tool with a blade length of 25.4mm, and avoid using a tool with a blade length equal to or less than 12.7mm.

Precautions for tool operation

1. In order to avoid the tool twisting off due to excessive pressure, all the tools are designed to rotate clockwise.

2. All the tools are tested by balancing at the time of production completion to ensure that there is no doubt about the diameter jump, in order to guarantee again that the tools are used without swinging and jumping, please pay attention to the selection of suitable machinery and equipment and excellent clamping sleeve.

3. The woodworking cutter is specially designed for portable and desktop woodworking engraving machine, it can't be used in electric drills, drilling machines and other equipments.

4. The tool can process hardwood, softwood, synthetic boards, and other wood, but avoid processing metal materials such as copper and iron and non-wood materials like sand and stone.

5. Make sure to use a proper size sleeve. A sleeve that is badly worn, not round enough, and has a taper in the hole will not provide enough tightening force and will cause the shank to vibrate or twist off and fly off.

6. If a sleeve is found to be under-rounded or worn, replace it immediately with a good sleeve of a standard size.

7. The shank must be fully inserted into the sleeve and securely tightened to provide sufficient tightening force on the tool. It should NOT be partially inserted into the sleeve or the shank may break, causing damage to the tool.

8. When the tool is blunt, replace the tool with a new one and do not continue to use it to avoid tool breakage and workplace accidents.

9. Use appropriate eye and ear protection when using tools.

10. It's important to use an anti-bounce device when using tabletop machines to avoid accidents caused by bouncing when cutting at high speeds.

Tools maintenance

1. Keep your tools clean. After using the tool, remove resin, wood shavings, and other dirt by soaking it in standard industrial solvents.

2. Applying a small amount of machine oil prevents surface rusting on the tool. Remove all stains from the handle to prevent slipping during use.
